Greetings! 

C L Raven are identical twins, mistresses of the macabre, countesses of the creepy and oracles of the occult. They're horror writers because 'bringers of nightmares' isn't a recognised job title. They’ve been published in the UK, USA and Australia, most notably in The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper, which makes their fascination with him respectable. Recently, they've put their love of true crime documentaries to good use and are regularly featured in Mitzi Szerto's The Best New True Crime Stories anthologies. They often work on indie horror films and ended up with lead roles in School Hall Slaughter. They hunt ghosts for their YouTube show, Calamityville Horror, host The Graveyard Shift -- a horror radio show on Vitalize Radio. They combined their love of pole and writing by launching  When in Chrome pole and aerial magazine in 2020. In January 2020, they opened a mobile poledance studio, The Pole Vault, but didn't factor 'global pandemic' into their SWOT analysis.

When they're not consumed by their obsession with horror, true crime and pole, they lurk in the grounds of Raven Retreat, raising an army of rehomed and rescue animals. Their hobbies include exploring castles, watching endless documentaries on serial killers, and smashing the patriarchy. They can often be found protesting about environmental issues and ranting about the Tories.
